It's a pic I began some months ago and didn't finish cause I had difficulties with the colors (the girl's hair and skin were totally crappy :no: :no: ) and I was too tired to try to save this pic... ^^; But I finally finish it for an expo (and so I'm proud cause it's very rare I continue pic I didn't like at the first time ^^; ) (but I always think the girl's skin sucks... :tears: Poor girl...) (edit: ok ok in fact you can only see it on the original pic ^^; )
The pic is inspired by designs I made for a personal version of the Beauty and the Beast. I hope to have time to do this short story one day ^^

oh, wow, that's gorgeous. Im sorry about the earlier draft, but this one came out beautifully. :D You should make it a short story; i'd read it.

The only thing that I see about the girl's skin is that it seems to blend completely in with the dress she's wearing. I love the castle. It reminds me of a scratchboard. The sepia tone of the piece really helps out. It looks old, like something you'd see in a children's book at your grandparent's house. Very well executed. Even with the water stain'd look. Love it!

that looks so awesome ^^ i luv the overall effect :D maybe the girl's skin looks weird coz it looks like its blended with her hair color ^^; but id still say a very great job ^^
